I finally have my computer back and as a result can update this journal. It's been too long. Best Buy had my computer for almost a month. Not only that but I was busy with school and other issues - mostly health related. I don't even know where to begin, but I will say that I'm glad to be back. I hope to do monthly updates since doing so daily or even weekly is out of the question.
I can finally catch up on my new favorite shows: The Secret Circle and Grimm. I can also catch up with Supernatural, Daily Show, Colbert Report and Glee. I have to see if Pretty Little Liars is back on the air, but I doubt it and furthermore must look into catching up on Burn Notice since I recently got into this show. I have my work cut out for me.

I am completely enthralled by the new show, The Secret Circle. I hope it keeps me tuning in for episodes to come. It doesn't replace Charmed in any way, shape or form, but it's very entertaining. It has an interesting storyline and I want to see how things get resolved.
My depression has worsened, but I'm hanging in there. I'm trying my best to not let problems get to me (the current one have to do with this argument I had with my best friend/cousin and adjusting to a new home) and so far I'm doing mediocre. At least I have resisted the urge to do anything stupid or harmful. The last thing I want is to land in the hospital again and speaking of hospital...I hate the fact I had to get surgery last Wednesday. I hope I recover soon.
Sometimes I ask myself why these things happen to me, but then I realize it must be to make me a stronger person because some really tough situations have been presented to me lately. I don't know what else to make of it but to think of them as tests of character.
On a final note, I really hope my gums and teeth get stronger soon. I hate flossing so much because it hurts, but I have to do it to improve the quality of my teeth. I didn't get off to a good start in life when it came to oral hygiene, but I will make up for the mistakes made by my parents. I will not allow my health to go to hell more than it has thus far.

Currently on a little vacation in PA. I'm enjoying it so far. I really need to force myself to write soon because I'm running out of time to work on my thesis. It's times like this that make me wonder why I applied to graduate school. I really hope I can make it to the finish line. I'm so burnt out from school that I'm ready to fall over.
Other than that things have been going well. I have medical insurance. I'm roleplaying again. Not as much as I'd like to, but things are just starting out and this writer's block is really messing with me so I'm taking it easy on myself. I'm slightly depressed, but holding up well.
I've started to catch up on some of my shows and I'm convinced now more than ever before that I need to catch up on Supernatural. Next season looks like it's going to be epic.

After much debate I decided to make my first post about fanfiction. Yes, as we all know I am absolutely enthralled by fanfiction. It will start off small, but as I find more fics it will get longer. Most of the fics I'm reccing here are HP fanfics. So readers beware.
